New swells of opportunity with Surfing GB
The charts look good for British surfing as a new swell is rising in the form of Surfing GB.
As you are all probably aware by now, the British Surfing Association (BSA) has been rendered insolvent and will be wound up. The British surfing fraternity could be left feeling a little flat at the prospect of a lack of a governing body, but the newly executive committee of Surfing GB think otherwise.
The surfing community will be asked for what they want to see from their governing body from grassroots to professional, as Surfing GB, with assistance from Sport England, look to establish a sound basis for British surfing in the future on a world stage.
Visit the Surfing GB sites for the latest information on the development of the governing body.
